I'm curious about what and how people are tithing. Do you give 10% (or some other percentage) or do you tend to give whatever's leftover in your wallet?

We tithe as a family And teach our kids to give from their allowances. We give 10 percent or more. I am always looking to volunteer and help wherever I can. We have to help out as much as we can because what we give to our church benifits the congregation and our youth. Some churches reach out to their communities and some reach out to other countries with what's collected.
Christianity is not a cult, there's a huge night and day difference, but it's a hilarious point of view and thanks for the laugh.

Yes I tithe, since ususally I just have summer jobs I tithe then and also if someone gives me money for doing something I tithe on that as well. It's something that I was taught to do(never to young to star they say it's better to start learning how to tithe when your younger so as we getting older and become adults we will already know how to do it).

I ebb and flow. I doubt I "tithe" an exact 10%. I also have 3 kids and give of my time as well as my talent, not only my treasure.

i'm very in contact in my church. i'm a discipleship instructor on Sunday mornings besides as a Greek and Hebrew instructor on Monday evenings. I take Seminary classes on Tuesdays ( i'm engaged on my P.H.D). i bypass to bible be taught on Wednesday,and instruct a small team on Thursdays, and have a reformatory ministry on Saturdays. only because of the fact I fill my time with the flaws of God , does no longer mean i'm greater suited than all people else. i understand what God has forgiven me for and that i'm so grateful!!!The notice of God tells us that we are bought with a value as a result we are no longer our very own. I belong to my Savior, Jesus Christ who paid for my sins. He become my replace. via his dying, burial, and resurrection, He gave me the prospect to to settle for the unfastened present of salvation that purely he gives you. detect a church that teaches the Bible and be taught.approximately how dazzling our lord is!

I know you said christians only, but i sadly no a friend who is part of a cult, much like yourselves, and i asked him and he says he gives them everything. I told him he could save money becoming a christian and therfor only giving 10% of him money to them....christianity seems like a better cult, financially anyway.
