I think it just depends what type of church setting you like better. Most of the time it has nothing to do with differing religious beliefs. For example, I'm a baptist and I enjoy the more laid-back, contemporary setting. On the other hand, some people like things such as hymns or large choirs or churches where you formally dress...which are all in other more traditional branches of Christianity. And yes, all the branches of Christianity have the same belief that after you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and choose to surrender your life to Him that you may one day spend eternity in heaven.

The "60" answer is the closest.
Prior service can join the army up to age 59. The trick is that you have to be able to complete 20 years active service before your 60th birthday regardless of your current age.
The Marines cutoff is 31 or 32 for prior service. Not sure of the Navy and AF

You have to be in Basic training for the Air Force by your 28th birthday for enlisted. They take officers up to the age of 34 or 35. For enlisted AD Army I believe it is 41. The Air Force is also currently re-evaluating their prior service program and are not accepting those applicants at this time.

I can only verify the age for the AF which is 27 (you can turn 28 while in Basic/tech school). I have to say that the older the person, the harder time they have adjusting to the military lifestyle.

Usually 34 is the upper limit, especially in the Air Force. Most of the individual branch websites will tell you their recruiting targets-- which, given the state of the world, have been somewhat loosened.

with the extreme shortage of manpower, it may go up. It used to be about 30? years of age, if I recall right. But they are relaxing the standards now to get more people in, as they're desperate for ANY people to take over as more military people retire. They may take 40+ in non-combat positions.

42 for any branch of reserves, active duty, and national guard. You must be in good enough physical shape for your age range however.
