I flipped the hell out. My son just sat and let this boy beat him up. I went off on the lil boy and as for my son i snapped out on him. His dad told me i need 2 just let him handle it cause i got so upset. If it happens again what should i do? My son beat this same boy up 2 months ago for hitting his lil sister.

You may want to have your son to learn martial arts. They will teach him how to defend himself. Once you sign him up you want to make sure that he goes all the way to black belt.

The step is to talk to the boy's mother. Make sure that your son is with you and try to remedy the problem. The principal should also be aware of what happen. Your husband really need to sit down with him. It's important that he has a good relationship with his son, because allowing your son to handle it on his own maybe a tragic mistake. You don't know what's in his mind. God bless.

First of all how old is your son?I have 2 boys 17 and 18.Flipping out or showing your temper doesnt resolve the situition. Sit down with this kids parents and try to resolve the situation as adults.

Boys will go through these stages... some of it is hormonal and some of it is just about establishing dominance.

These kids need to be in sports so they will have an outlet for their pent-up aggression or sugar-rush energy.

Find out who the other kid's parents are and have them over for coffee. Get everyone on the same page. It isn't about placing blame, but about finding means of channeling their energy into constructive persuits. You may make some very good allies in these other parents!

That boy & his dad need to meet w/you & your son & figure out how this is going to come to an end. Hopefully everyone can get along or figure out what needs to happen, like staying away from each other/ignoring one another, etc... That is what I would do in that situation.

Dont provoke a fight but teach your son to fight so if other kid tries to fight your son again your son will win and the other kid will have second thoughts about hitting your son.

DO NOT PROVOKE THE FIGHT

talk to the boy who beat up YOUR son parents. If a situation cannot be solved this way..a police report will need to be filed out and it can be settled in family court. it may seem extreme...but this can actually affect your child's self esteem in the future and affect him for life.
