If it`s not why do creationists always mix these terms together?

Peace and Harmony - The theory of realitivity and Quantum mechanics do not contradict eachother. The theory of realitivity breaks down on the Quantum (atomic - sub atomic) level. Just as Classic mechanics breaks down at light speeds (Theory of realitivity)
The only problem that the theory of realtivity poses for Quantum mechanics and vice versa is when we take into account the "Singulairity" at the time of the big bang or expansion of space time, thus scientists are trying to come up with a Quantum Gravity theory.
I can tell that your a creationists because you`re mixing postulates to score points.
Thanks - You`ve proved my point.

Wasn't the guy who came up with the big bang theory a priest? Damn I'm gonna have to re-look that up....Too much wine!!!
edit: I love when I'm right.
In 1927, the Belgian priest Georges Lemaître was the first to propose that the universe began with the explosion of a primeval atom. His proposal came after observing the red shift in distant nebulas by astronomers to a model of the universe based on relativity. Years later, Edwin Hubble found experimental evidence to help justify Lemaître's theory. He found that distant galaxies in every direction are going away from us with speeds proportional to their distance

The only mistake is to think of Creationism as separate from the Fundamentalists.

Creationists and Intelligent Design are driven by and supported by Fundamentalism. Fundamentalism regards science in general as a threat and those two theories(evolution, big bang) as the biggest threats. This is because they directly contradict Genesis.
The result is that the Fundamentalist Movement is not only anti-science but considers science to be directly involved with atheism.

I would write more but I have done this many times before and once you see where it is driven from the rest should fall into place. Even that sad joke of a "Creation Museum" they built.

The Catholics already fought their war against science and lost. The American and Turkish fundamentalists have not had their go at it yet. The American Fundamentalists were isolated politically from Euopean event from 1640 to 1940.
The Turks were isolated by economics from about 1500 to 1950.

No dear, atheism is simply the lack of believing in a god. Nothing more or less. Evolution is a scientific explanation of how life came to be on this planet. The Big Bang theory is the theory of the beginning of the universe from some rapid expansion of universal "primum materia".

Quite often you will find that people who hold any one of these oppinions will also hold the others to be true as well, but by all means they are not synonymous.

This is an best factor and extra of the creationist have got to attempt to comprehend that all of the special theories are simply that. Different Scientific Theories which were confirmed to be actual. Unlike their mythological "concept" which is not even nearly being confirmed or actual in anyway. Circular common sense isn't evidence. Intelligent Design isn't a concept: "One requirement of technological know-how is that it makes precise predictions, which may also be validated in a laboratory." states geologist Robert Hazen "Another requirement is that it does now not depend on supernatural or marvelous methods." The most important case that smart layout promotes is that lifestyles and the universe have strategies which might be so complicated that they may be able to handiest be defined by way of a author. The very essence of that concept is wholly un-testable. The handiest scan that stands up is that if we are not able to provide an explanation for complicated strategies scientifically then they have got to had been designed by way of a few sort of intelligence. If it was once designed by way of "a author" a unmarried being or entity; whether or not that be God, an Alien or the Giant Spaghetti Monster then we're left with out checking out. The implied protocol for checking out is to stop and give up gaining knowledge of seeing that the solutions to the query are to complicated to give an explanation for. The educating of (un)smart layout is crook and depraved in it is rationale. The minds of our kids and the qulaity in their schooling is being compromised for the private attain of a couple of devout zealots which might be no higher than the Taliban. The Talibabtists have acquired to comprehend that their faith and our public colleges are two serperate enties and need to stay so if our nation is to stay powerful and compettitive on the planet financial system of day after today. If they get their means we can be lowered to a third international nation in a question of a couple of many years.

I'd rather think that I don't know what to believe. Just becasue these theories are the best we have come up with so far. People have claimed contradictions in the bible but there are also contradictions in science (theory of relativity and quantum physics) - but either way the truth is far from our grasp. Matter and energy doesn't will itself into existence. Further, why is there everything instead of nothing? This is a question that we will not be able to answer. Many people claim to know the truth, but the truth is; no one knows the truth. It is pretty shallow minded, ignorant and arrogant to go around shouting that you know the truth, because no one does.

Creationists have problems with any interpretation of the Bible that is not literal. Many non-creationists see Genesis as allegorical. There are many people who believe in God and accept the theory of evolution and the big bang. The Clergy Letter Project is a statement signed by 11,071 members of the clergy so far, the text is below.

We the undersigned, Christian clergy from many different traditions, believe that the timeless truths of the Bible and the discoveries of modern science may comfortably coexist. We believe that the theory of evolution is a foundational scientific truth, one that has stood up to rigorous scrutiny and upon which much of human knowledge and achievement rests. To reject this truth or to treat it as “one theory among others” is to deliberately embrace scientific ignorance and transmit such ignorance to our children. We believe that among God’s good gifts are human minds capable of critical thought and that the failure to fully employ this gift is a rejection of the will of our Creator. To argue that God’s loving plan of salvation for humanity precludes the full employment of the God-given faculty of reason is to attempt to limit God, an act of hubris. We urge school board members to preserve the integrity of the science curriculum by affirming the teaching of the theory of evolution as a core component of human knowledge. We ask that science remain science and that religion remain religion, two very different, but complementary, forms of truth.

Atheism is merely the state of lacking a belief in any type of god or deity. Since atheists lack a belief in any type of supernatural explanation of natural phenomenon, many atheists will pursue the study of the physical sciences. This may be the reason why theists consistently identify Evolutionary Theory as an "atheistic" idea. What theists need to understand is that one does not need a scientific background to be an atheist...all that is required is that one lack any type of theistic belief.

The Big Bang, I believe, was a white hole which brought matter from one universe to this universe. The theory of evolution is that as X changes B must adapt in order to survive, (example: humans have gotten taller). Creationists believe that something is their because God made it. Therefore, no.

Atheist are like the original pagans.... they practice no religion and serve no god... nothing more.. christians like to catalog people into narrow classes so they set them up in arguments... Like not all atheists are scientist... and they just live life by their own conscience... so they should not be pushed into a position of having to explain theories others are studying... We have a right not to bow down to your gods, or religions......

Creationist always mix everything up because they don't know what they believe.

Science and Religion are 2 whole different playing fields. To mix these would lead you to garbage.
