If it`s not why do creationists always mix these terms together?

Peace and Harmony - The theory of realitivity and Quantum mechanics do not contradict eachother. The theory of realitivity breaks down on the Quantum (atomic - sub atomic) level. Just as Classic mechanics breaks down at light speeds (Theory of realitivity)
The only problem that the theory of realtivity poses for Quantum mechanics and vice versa is when we take into account the "Singulairity" at the time of the big bang or expansion of space time, thus scientists are trying to come up with a Quantum Gravity theory.

Creationists and Intelligent Design are driven by and supported by Fundamentalism. Fundamentalism regards science in general as a threat and those two theories(evolution, big bang) as the biggest threats. This is because they directly contradict Genesis.

People have claimed contradictions in the bible but there are also contradictions in science (theory of relativity and quantum physics) - but either way the truth is far from our grasp.
