Love or damnation?

Uh... I'll take "Love" for 1,000, Alex.
This is a point many fundamentalists never get. If you try to scare people into loving God, all you'll get is a bunch of people who are going through the motions just to avoid a punishment.
These are not the children God wants.
When a non-believer sees love coming from Christians on a consistent basis, he will be more likely to wonder to himself if there isn't something real and good and uplifting about Christianity.
Unfortunately, it is much easier to judge and damn than to do the hard work of loving the way Jesus taught us.

When i was agnostic on Oklahoma I got a lot of people screaming damnation...and to much focus on this portrays god as sadistic punishing his creation for his own pleasure.
I could not accept this view of God while sin is real it is only encountering some one who I felt was living the Gospel that mattered.

Damnation, because it's always true. Love to most people simply means sex or whatever makes them feel good. I love chocolate, but until I realized I was headed to hell and needed salvation, I didn't seek out a relationship with God.

i am a Christan however i believe we believe in the same God but simply approach him in different ways it's all good
