Picking a confirmation name is about selecting a name that has meaning to you, whether it be a male or female name. Pick a good one!

Of course. In the Catholic religion, some nuns have men's names -- I had a college piano teacher, a nun, whose name was "Sister John Joseph."

So I don't see why you couldn't take a male saint's name if that is someone whose attributes you admire.

But -- a caveat, I am not Catholic so you might want to ask your confirmation sponsor or your priest.

Yes you can pick a male saint even if you are female.

I almost went with George myself, but I became a Catholic as an adult.

But do not pick it to be "fun". That is not what confirmation is about. I mean, its a happy time, but its one filled with respect as well. You pick a saint who has inspired you or one of the saints that is your patron.
