Models have to learn to walk with 5 books on their heads! (They start out with one.) Once they've mastered that (in high heals, no less!!) they're told to always walk as if there's a hook coming out of the top of they're heads.

Hope that helps you out a bit!! Just walk tall and proud!! You can do it!! I know you can! :)

I have been through similar situation. I was told that if I did not improve my posture that I would have a "widows hump" when I get older so I started a yoga program. I could not afford to join a yoga studio (I am a student) so I got a video from the library. I was so stiff at first that I had to start with yoga for seniors even though I am young. Two years later I am strong and flexible. My husband teases me that I am strong enough "to kick a cow down." However, if I skip the yoga for a few days and obsess over writing a paper or something, my back stiffens right back up. Yoga is a small price to pay to live pain free. I still have to remind myself to sit up straight, but at least, now I can.

One think that I try to do is remember to kind of tuck my chin in, giving myself an ugly double chin, but it does kind of realign where the neck and shoulders and upper back should be.
