If you realize and admit you are delusional then you are on the track to getting well. If you still get scared and angry when someone points out to you the illogic of your beliefs then this anger is what you have to work on in order to have time for others opinions.
Medications are not a cure but do help in stabilizing ones emotions and should not be precipitously abandoned. Do you hallucinate? That is hear any voices or see things? If so you need to tell your physician. Do not pay any attention to any "voices" or "apparitions" Your physician is your best friend and if you do not trust him work on why in a rational manner and strive to. If you hallucinate there may not be a cure for your disorder but who knows?
Good luck with your provider, good mental health, peace and Love!.

Many of those who answer here are experienced in the vocabulary of the mind. Love and hate like fear and anger are opposites. Pick one to work on. You don't need medication if you are calm enough to think it all through. All disorders require a period of serious depression to get formed in the mind. Depression always brings the illness back again.

you could try calming exercise like yoga etc for the anger, but it won't get rid of paranoia and delusions. it's probably stupid of me to answer with a nonanswer, cuz i don't think there is one. it's important to treat an illness with medication. my grandma had paranoia and delusions, and she didn't take her medicine. and because of that she literally became the crazy cat woman. and my brother-in-law's father was the same way, didn't take any medicine until he hit a serious low, like he was living in his truck and other things that we don't really know about.....

unfortunately, there aren't "cures" per se for paranoid delusions. however, with a mix of meds and therapy, you can definitely deal. i wouldn't recommend going off of medication because the delusions can sometime spiral out of control and could be dangerous to you. plus, without meds, your disorder will only get worse as you age. good luck.

invite Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior and then begin to ask Him to reveal His shining face to you in His written word.
