Good question Kris. Depends upon what your societal and religious tradition tells you. For my mind everything including you is God though I do not call it that because of all the squabbles about who knows God and who doesn't. If everything is a perfect reflection of the Absolute then everything is the Absolute including you. I don't have to argue about Absolute Love because it is self evident. If there are infinite universes then all possibilities occur at every moment in time. In the East they have this thing called non-dualism in which if you still your mind and stop judging and learn to forgive then the mind does not have to struggle to become something. We have a similar thing in the west between becoming the process of mind moving through time and being the witness of the perfect now. Everything is the Absolute however the duality of life, pleasure and pain in the world blinds us to the Infinite. The world is merely temporary waves on an ocean of infinite depth tranquility and love and is there fore everyone at death. No one gets judged or blamed because Love can only be Love not judgement and retribution. if you want to find the Absolute you will have to stand alone in your own intelligence because no-one can sell insight to you. There are too many false profits in the world. I think its a real shame that our societies justify war and cruelty in the name of goodness and justice which I know really annoys the hell out of young people. Trust in your heart even when life gets a bit crappy. The boundless is always here.

If you imagine a dimension as a line: The first dimension is a simple straight line, then planar direction is another line, then 3d dimensions is the third line going into/out-of the paper, and imagine that this 3d object is going across a timeline, the 4th dimension. Then all the different choices during time is the fifth dimension, etc. God knows how many dimensions there are, but we can only master 3 dimensions and we are the slaves of the 4th and 5th dimensions.
God is outside of these dimensions and He is al powerful and is not limited to those dimensions. He's looking at the dimensional world as if it's an object in space. He sees all the time from start to finish as if He's looking at a film-reel, and He has mastership over all the dimensions, and when He wills he can pick a frame and insert an object into it or take one away, or modify it.
I'm not saying this is in scripture, I'm just saying it's a nice way to imagine it, and it's humanly understandable.

Yes, everything you said is pretty spot on. Originally the abrahamic god was in the sky, be it our sky or what we know think of as outer space, but they had 'spheres' (look it up, it's funny and interesting). That is literally where we get the phrase the heavens. But as you said, then we got up there and he was no where to be found. So now that god nor his 'kingdom' are in the sky, they say heaven is a spiritual realm, which to me is no different than saying another dimension or plane of existence.

My feeling is that we are creatures of spirit who either come here or create this existence for educational purposes and the God energy is that which powers it. It naturally would come from our home - and the spirit plane is vastly different from the physical plane (and necessarily so). Think of it as being away at boarding school overseas. Gives us the freedom to grow unsupervised, but there is always a safety line.
Peace!

If God is in the 37th dimension, I'm cool with that... just let him leave alone the 4 dimensions me and my universe are in, ok??

hello kriss, if you can limit God, our concept of him is to small. If anyone can actually invision God, or any limits to him. Then their concept of God, is to small. First there was the word and the word was God. Not first there was dimension then there was God. God, created all and is not limited to the small imaginations of our minds. NO ONE, can truly imagine eternity or all knowing from first to last or alpha to omega, Kriss, God is in all demensions, he created them.
He knows where the smallest sparrow falls and knows your true feelings and beliefs. God, is forgiveness and love with no limit in time or space or dimensions. I believe he loves our dimension and you, as you are, with no changes except he needs us to believe in him before we can except him ,its never the other way around he believes in us Kriss, all we have to do is except his love and forgiveness for any sins we may have committed including the original sin of Adam and Eve. God, may not like whats happening with our free will on this Earth, and with Satan and what Satan, has done to us, to trick us away from him. This is Satans, last chance!. Once his time is over and God, comes in his Glory, with all his Saints Angels and followers.(ARMY) Satan and his true followers will be cast back into the pit of hell for the last time! never to see the light of God, again. REVELATION 22!!!
YES, I AM COMING SOON. I WARN EVERYONE!!!! WHO HEARS MY WORDS: IF ANYONE TAKES AWAY FROM THE BOOK OF MY PROPHECY, I WILL TAKE AWAY FROM HIM HIS SHARE IN THE TREE OF LIFE AND IN THE HOLY CITY , WHICH ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS BOOK. AND THEY SHALL BE CAST TO HELL FOR ENTERNITY!
