im 18 year old girl and heading over to china next week to work with a fashion buyer, has any one been over to china and gone clubbing? how is the night life? am i old enough? whats the legal age? anything like aussie? details very much appreciated!! are there many tourists that go out?

It REALLY depends on where you will be. If your a buyer you may end up in a "factory village" with no foreigners and only services for factory workers.

No doubt you'll move around, but you'll probably be based in a large city (lets hope for your sake).

In the larger city's there will be Western style nightclubs. - The main difference from Oz is that here you usually buy your spirits by the bottle and buy a bottle of mixer.

Most of the larger cities have web pages setup to market to the expat or half-pat community, so you'll get an idea of where foreigners hangout.

No ENFORCED legal age.

hi, since you are working with a fashion buyer, there is no lack of opportunities to go clubbing... whether work or on your own. Just ask around, someone will be able to supply you information on the hippest if not the more popular night spots in town.

there is no drinking age in china. in the cities there are tons of clubs. some clubs play chinese techno and some play western music. drinks can vary in price, depending on what city you are in. there are many westerners living in china so i am sure you will come across some in the clubs

Have fun, just be careful with people spiking drinks. It happens alot in China.
