I am having real issues finding an antibiotic to take, I was given a zpak which tore my stomach up, lots of pain and diaherrea. I can't take ketek, omnicef, sulfa and I refuse to take any of the quin antibiotics.So what is left?

Depending on what he doctor is treating you can take Biaxin (sinus infection, upper respiratory infection), or take Cephalexin (skin infections, etc.) You can also take Augmentin, Amoxicillin, or Pen-Vk it all depends on what are you are trying to treat, hope this helps. Hope you feel better!

I'm very surprised zithro tore you up. Erythro did that to me, but z-packs are ok for me. How about clindamyacin? Levaquin worked really hard for me when I had a terrible case of strep with pus sacks all the way down my sternum--terrible! I'm assuming you're allergic to pennicillin and cephalexin?

Good luck. I hope you find something that your tummy is okay with and fights your infection, too.

What about a chinese herbalist? I bet they have something that would help.

Allergic to sulfa is one problem, I have that too.
Are you allergic to Penicillin8n? If not that family should be OK.
