We all face choices. The best advise I could give is to follow what you want whenever possible, But you need to eat and pay your way in the world. If you can do what you desire and still do your duty, you will be much happier. But our obligations must always come first. (That's both to others and to yourself).

I wanted to go to art college but only 4% of graduate artists make enough to live on afterwards, it didn't seem practical.
Almost finished engineering but it doesn't make me smile not like making mosaics which I do as a hobby. I really don't know what to advise you to do as we have the same battle except to not feel guilty about that 5 hours, enjoy it, you need time out from regular study to do something you love otherwise you'd go nuts.

You could try to find an art class that doesn't take so long, and you could try making a schedule that includes drawing and school. Whatever you do, keep drawing if that's what you enjoy. I love writing and I could never imagine giving up, for anything. So if you love drawing then try your hardest to mix it into your life! I try to balance writing and my high school of correspondence, but sometimes it doesn't work out so well. I read alot, and I find that doing school doesn't just get in the way of my writing, it helps it so much. I've always loved writing, but I just recently started activly writing, why? Because I took my grammer course. so school led to writing, and they sort of blended. I don't know if anything I said will help, but I hope it does!

Blessed be.
