Could this be the reason we all come to RS over and over?

Question

I heard this song on the radio today (__ bless XM Radio) and the chorus line hit me. It dawned on me that I think this is the reason I come to RS.

And for those who are not Garth Brooks fans (shame on you VC) or don't care to tantilize your ears right now here is the chorus line:

What are your thoughts? How many come here as an affirmation of your beliefs? That no matter how ugly it gets in here you will not let that deter either your faith in whatever god or your faith in mankind.

Hmmmmm, you might have a point there..... I come here for several reasons..... I like the interaction, the discussions, the points brought out, etc.... and nothing will take my faith in God away from me....... NO ONE has that kind of power.... go in peace.... God bless

I think I come here to talk with others who have like faith, and the desire to share what God has done for me in the hopes that just one will be saved by something I said. Or at least question the path they are on. I know we can do nothing if their heart is not seeking and the spirit drawing them,,but somewhere down the road,,,,someone else may water the seeds we sow. It is worth my time and yours to keep plugging alone and not get discouraged by all the mocking we get...If they mocked Jesus,,they will mock us.

This is beautiful, and yes, I agree that no matter HOW ugly it gets, my faith in God and my belief that people are basically GOOD will never change.
They can ask lewd "questions" about My SAVIOR, and they can mock me, ridicule me for loving Him, and they can say that HE is the cause of all the evil in this world. I will not change. My love will last forever.

They can blame HIM for the earthquakes, for all of the murders, all the wars, etc., and they can say that IF He were REALLY God, that He would somehow intervene and stop all the madness, hate, etc., I will ALWAYS and FOREVER believe that He is God, that it is NOT Him who is to blame, but the small percentage of PEOPLE who cause evil.

It's like talk radio. I listen to that and I come here because I love to be amazed at how outrageous I find those that hold different beliefs to me are.

Also, I think there is always middle ground and I am amazed at how few people search for it.

I don't know why I come here, but I'm addicted. My husband's addicted to Banjo Kazooie and I'm addicted to this....... sad, eh?
