Undocumented or not these people were there to rebuild New Orleans even before FEMA got there. I think every American person should take time off from their duties and go help rebuild this state in great need that people from there have done unmeasurable help to the American people by rebuilding cities all around the U.S. including now California.
Or where does the mighty "BIG HEARTED" American people think about this?

Yup....besides rebuilding New Orleans......many crops in the southwest are now spoiling and going to waste since there are no longer as many immigrants to pick them.
Maybe we should send the Minutemen?? Nah, too old and lazy.

It is very correct to say a good number of the people who cleaned up New Orleans were illegal aliens. I won't go into the violations of the OSHA laws that took place, and in fact, little was said about it at that point. I seriously doubt that information could be resurrected if we wanted to. Because the Illegal Aliens could not read the labels, they simply did the work and ignored the incrediable health hazards that existed in the wreakage of the major sea port called New Orleans.
And they did it for wages that were far, far less than American Workers would have been paid. The individual contractors that did the clean up, hired the illegal aliens, exposed them to intense jepordy, and then paid them less than the minimum wage in some cases. In some cases, the illegal aliens had to sue the employers and in some cases, still haven't gotten their money.

By definition a "favor" is an act of kindness that has no monetary reward. These people for the most part were payed for the services they were hired to perform. Dont get me started on the California federally funded rebuild & insurance fraud bailout that is looming.

Took me a while , but I finally figure out what you were saying. Yes we should send our construction company to help rebuild Tabasco, from the flood. Like the Mexicans who came to New Orleans, We expect to be paid as well.

They were paid for their work so no favor there. If they need help then all those illegals should go help. I would think that would be a solution we could all live with.

NO THEY DIDNT! They were there as "Opportunists. They had more trouble with the HUGE influx of taco carts that it added to more problems. I know thats a fact. They kept shutting them down and they'd "pop" up across the street.
Trust me...It wasnt all good..

That legal AND illegal immigrants have helped two regions in the United States does not...repeat does NOT...justify granting amnesty to some 3-million illegals nor does it justify allowing such a disastrous invasion to continue. Have you ever wondered what the percentage of illegals who helped is when compared to the total number of illegals currently present in the US?

Most of these people don't even know what goes on in the rest of world, nor do they care. Only some of us are big hearted, some of us know what it's like to suffer and we care and want to help.
