What is amazing is that people want to impose on others their beliefs. That is why the Roman Emperors threw the Christians to the lions and now the so called Christians are doing exactly the same thing to others. Instead of separating Church from State, which is in our Constitution, these so called Christians want the whole country to follow their so called doctrines, not taking into consideration that their ways are spiritually gratifying to them, but not necessarily to everyone else. Human beings evolve extremely slowly as does Nature, but to be fixated on a book written thousands of years ago reflects only how primitive the mind can be. May God or the gods have pity on us all!

Gay is a word that did not exist in Christs time. Nor was there a word called Homosexuality.
If you go by what the world says of course Gay marriage is approved by God.
However if you go by what the bible says then it is an abomination and sin.
So it's a matter of risk. Does someone want to risk that the bible is false?
I am of the opinion that the bible is the word of God and so I would be terrified if I knew someone in that wicked lifestyle. I would try to help them out of it as Leviticus 20:13 warns of this sin.

According to the bible, he doesn't approve of homosexuality at all. See all the above comments.
This seems like a pretty hypocritical stance to me. After all, we are all god's creatures, right? If someone is a homosexual it is because god chose to make them that way. How can you punish someone for being what they are?
Not that it really matters, since god only exists in the subjective realities of weak minded fools.

To give sanction to homosexual marriage would be to give approval to that lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. Christians should stand firmly against the idea of gay marriage / same sex marriage. Marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:21-24; Matthew 19:4-6). Homosexual marriage is a perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. God forbids and condemns homosexuality, so He clearly is opposed to homosexual marriage.
Have a blessed day.

Legally, "copyright" isn't acceptable to any be conscious. Copyright protects an occasion of imaginitive expression, no longer the belief being expressed. Even copyright on a different writing does not create any protection for the underlying innovations which could be expressed in any form of different imaginitive techniques. if you are going to throw around criminal words on your arguments, you may a minimum of understand what they propose. in my opinion there is not any god, and subsequently no approval is needed for something you prefer to do, so no longer something on your question is even remotely suitable to fact.

Genesis 13:13: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."
Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Romans 1:24-32:
These scriptures clearly state that these vile affections of men lusting for other men (gay men) or women lusting for other women (lesbians) are not the natural affections God created men and women to have for one another. Let me say here that God loves all homosexuals! However, He hates the deeds of homosexuality because they are sinful. God did not create any human being as a homosexual. They are not born that way, just as murderers are not born that way.

God's will is pervasive but not coercive. He neither approves or endorses any kind of marriage. Approval is done by the civil or religious authority in the community or culture where the marriage takes place.

Well, you are likely to have a lot of no's from certain Christian members of yahoo!, but I personally think God seeks hapiness and peace for all people, so it's not necessarily that he approves, but I think he disaproves of hatred and cruelty towards our common man. Many people will quote scripture for this one, so I think it's fitting to put this one. "For God so loved the world..." I don't remember which one it is, but it's fitting, don't ya think. I think God's love and wish for our hapiness overcomes the darkness of hate and oppression, so yes, I do think God approves.

1 Corinthians 6:9, 10: “What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes [“male prostitutes,” New International Version; “effeminate,” King James Version], nor men who lie with men [“sodomites,” Jerusalem Bible; “homosexual perverts,” Today’s English Version],
Romans 1:18-27: “God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who are suppressing the truth in an unrighteous way . . . God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them . . . That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene.”
Romans 1:27: “Men with men performed these shameful horrors, receiving, of course, in their own personalities the consequences of sexual perversity.” (The New Testament in Modern English)
Leviticus 18:22 “And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”
Not to mention the health issues: AIDS, hepatitis, liver infections, gonorrhea, syphilis, gastrointestinal parasites..
No apologies, no concessions, no ambiguity—homosexuality is detestable in God’s sight.

Leviticus 20:13
If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.
For those that don't know, Leviticus is the third book in the old testament.
