If you are adding three ingredients a part is one third of the drink. If you are adding four it's one fourth of the drink...so the size of the actual part depends on the size of the drink you are making=)

It's whatever you want to make it. You just make it the same amount for each part of the drink.
Edit: Example is if the directions calls for 1 part X, 2 parts Y and one part Z. If you decide to make X a cup, then you'd make Y two cups and Z one cup. If you make X an ounce, then Y would be two ounces and Z would be one ounce. Just keep the amount of the part consistent throughout the recipe, whatever you decide the part for the recipe at the time is going to be.

that all depends on the portion size you are making for example if you were making a gallon drink and it said to add one part jack daniels and one part water then it would be a half gallon of jack and a half gallon of water, but in most cases you are going to be making mixed drinks for one or a small group so it will vary depending on the recipe but it will be about an ounce = 1 part

A part is whatever unit you'd like. It is just a way of saying that your final drink should be composed of this much of this, this much of that, etc. These "parts" are just proportions to make the drink taste the same no matter how much you're making. If it says one part vodka, two parts orange juice, you could mix one shot of vodka with two shots of o.j. and have the same drink you'd be making if you mixed one liter of vodka with two liters of orange juice.

For example, if the recipe says 2 parts vodka, 1 part soda, you would put exactly half as much soda into the drink. A part can be whatever size you want....it's all about proportions. They say 'Parts' so you can make as much as you need.

That is your call. that is why they write it that way. If you are making a full pitcher then a part may be a quart. If you are making a glass then a part may be a cup or a 1/2 cup.
