Hello!!! Darth
I have to agree with rt66lt. He has a great answer. I just suggest that you read more of the Bible like I need to. The word FAITH has a lot to believing and you get that from The Bible and Church which I also need more of.

It doesn't.
The manner in which the bible was set up in the first place (including the inaccuracies and mistranslations) is enough to prove that it is an unreliable "source" of providing evidence as to the existence or non-existence of a god or gods.

The only reason why religious people would say that the bible is proof of god is due to circular reasoning.

The Bible gives proof of God because of the 'Living Word.' And because of the Bible codes.and the Prophecies coming to pass.

The books of Isaiah and Jeremiah prophesy about a coming Messiah who would DIE ON A CROSS. And guess what!!! DECADES later, a man called Jesus (which means "God saves" by the way) dies on a cross. 3 days later, all of these people FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD claim they've seen him. Think about it. Do u think THAT could have been written by idiots that didn't know what they were talking about?

Religious folks seem to just accept the idea that the Bible is true because the Bible says it's true. I say the same logic is applicable to the Weekly World News. Both are equally implausible and neither has a shred of independent corroboration.

If the Bible is the proof of God, how do we know the Bible is right? Because it is the "word of God"? Seems kind of circular.

It's like the argument ender from parent to child - "Because I said so, that's why!" But that only works with young children.
