Hope the girl's all better now...next time place a cold compress on the bridge of the nose...not at the back of the head, the cold will constrict the blood vessels causing them to stop bleeding. Any good doctor would prescribe a vitamin K supplement to the girl's parents...these would lessen the bleeding episodes.

Put pressure on her nose and tilt her head forward. Don't remove the paper or anything for awhile because you will be ripping off clotted blood and making it bleed more. If it doesn't stop after about half an hour, take her to the ER.

This sounds strange and it is a little painful but it really does work to stop the bleeding.
Push up under top lip towards the nose, as hard as you can stand for about 2 min. It really works

You didn't say how old she is but if she won't choke on this is works for my son. Take a small, about 1 inch wide, strip of paper towel, wet it and place it under her top lip between her gum and lip. Have her hold it there with her lip. Then have her hold her head down and pinch her nose hard and hold her there a couple of min.
Good luck. She needs to see a ENT doctor.

I had the same dilemma but my cat brought two wild bunnies to my back porch. They injured themselves when I caged them.I do raise rabbits for a living but the best thing you can do is to seek help immediately.I would not put them back cause the chances of the mother rabbit accepting her kits back is slim. What I did is take them to a nature preserve that was near by.You might check with a vet and see if they know of a place to take them.I hope the bunnies are ok.

Have her lean forward, and keep having her blow her nose. This allows air to get to the broken membrane and start the clotting process.
If it continues for more than an hour, call 911 and her parents!

Ice pack to back of neck. Tip head up and squeeze the bridge of the nose tightly for five minutes. Have you called her parents? Do your parents live nearby?

Call 911 and tell them what you have told us.
Don't tilt her head back. That will make blood run into her mouth. Just pinch her nose shut and keep it until help comes.

TAKE HER TO THE HOSIPITAL!
Must often a nose bleed is and alergenic reaction to something inhaled. If it's really dry in the house it could be that, but I wouldn't take any chances. She could die if she's inhaling something her bodies rejecting.
