It seems like lately I cannot focus on my job. I just don't care anymore. It is a really great job too. I'm not content where I am at in my life right now. Nothing seems to lift my spirits. My daughter does bring me hapiness now and then, but I still feel blah most of the time. I'm afraid of losing my job because of my lack of enthusiasm. Can anyone out there help?? THANK YOU

You sound depressed, beyond a doubt.

I struggle with that as well, and meds can be extremely helpful.

More than likely, if this is the first time you've experienced this, the medication will only be needed a short while.

Please see your doc about help with your depression.

And yes, of course get all medical possibilities cleared, such as thyroid being low.

Get a medical checkup. Maybe your thyroid is low...or something else.

If there's nothing physically wrong, go see a psychiatrist. You may have depression. There are meds that can really help with this.
