Just wondering, since you know.. the Bible says it's a sin to kill, yet we kill in the war everyday. I love how you guys found a way to justify that kind of . But you know what bothers me? When you guys say there's no way God will accept gays. God will accept the when benefits some people, but you know, when people turn out to be gay, OHDAMN STRAIGHT TO HELL. Nice logic there, buds. :)

War is only about killing when its done wrong. The people who dont go to heavan are the murderers, not the people who are trying to use equal or superior force to stop them. The debt doesnt fall on the person pulling the trigger, it falls on the person who is responsible for creating the violence requiring the trigger. This is part of what seperates good from bad, soldier from murderer. If you do not understand the difference then you really need to give it some more thought.

I dunno what gays have to do with your question, but I do support the war as it is successfully providing a foci for terrorists to confront their enemy but on our terms. This is why AlQeada is loosing in Iraq, because unbiased educated people there are seeing that the terrorists are bad and the US are good.... sure it was safer under Saddam, but the cost of living under Saddam would have escalated the region's instability due to Iran and Syria's nuclear ambitions.

Never heard a Christian say any of that to anyone. Maybe you are being too sensitive.

People support or oppose the war who are both Christian and Atheist, as well as all flavors in between. It seems you are angry about something, but I am not sure what.

Read the bible if you want to understand the Christian faith. If you want someone to say that God (judeo-christian) endorses and approves of the gay lifestyle biblically, they can't, truthfully. The bible lays out a case against homosexuality and other forms of sexual immorality (adultery, child molesting, etc). However, God loves the sinner and the saint and wants us all to come to his kingdom.

I support the war in Iraq as being part of the more long-term war on terrorism.

Until Iraqi insurgents stop blowing up our soldiers and their own policemen and decapitating hostages, until Iraq and other countries of the Middle East cease to be breeding grounds for terrorists, and until Iran stops funneling insurgents into Iraq, I will support the war.

As for gays--I have relatives who are gay. I am not about to condemn members of my own family, nor do I truly think God does.

Which was your true question, the one about the war or the one about gays?

Honey,
First off "you guys" as being who? don't let 1 worm spoil the bushel of Apples!
God love Gays Like He loves you and me!
Gays are people and can still go to Heaven!
I know many other Christians do not see my point of view but, I'm sorry!
If they think being Gay is a sin, We ALL sin every day! In the eye's of God a sin is a sin and there is NO greater sin.
EVERYONE will have there Judgment!
I have my own cross to bear as everyone else does, Gays Yes do go to Heaven!
There is actually a chapter that talks about war in the bible but, honestly I left my bible at church this morning. I just noticed you attacked the "Christians" by Judging us (like you all hate us doing) and putting words in our mouths.
There are MANY Christian "religions" so please do not label us all by what you misunderstand.
God Bless~

Well as a Christian, I support Government lead wars on Terrorism. If we do not stop them over there, they will come over here and enforce there beliefs and right and rituals here. The government Has a duty to protect its citizens. Gays, were they might enjoy themselves, but they are unproductive, how can they multiply. They have to infect the next generation. What good is that to a society?

Get real and stop being so small minded that you think the world revolves around just you and your tinny agenda.

Why don't you get a blog if you want to whine about things you don't understand you little know-it-all pimple on the adolescent @ss of humanity? Shut the hell up and learn before you critique. The Commandment uses the word "Tirtzach" in Hebrew. The correct English translation is "murder"-- the unjust taking of an innocent life. Killing is sometimes necessary-- such as in self-defense. Don't attempt "logic" if your logic is limited to your pathetic knowledge.

EX 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Should say thou shalt not murder.

As to WAR

Jdg 3:1 Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

Jdg 3:2 Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

"to teach them war", point is as Christians, we are not somebodies
floor mat. But GOD expects us to WAR against our enemies. At times HE would even fight for us, and with us. Thats why its important never to leave HIM out of a War plan but to ask HIS blessings.

well for one that is one of two things god calls blaspemous people being gay which is against his guidelines and the other is people who down talk him. i support the war and am completely republican and you must not read the bible well because there is a verse i forget where it is that says for there is a time to kill. and it is for defensesive purposes. also global warming is over exxagerated and abortion is taking away life god gives and evolution in humans does not exist because god made us exactly the way we were now and also in his reflection. so in order for that to be true if we evovled we would no longer look like him which he said we were made in his reflection there just to u know clear up all of your liberal theories.

It is a sin to kill, if it isn't justified. But our soldiers are defending our lives and freedoms and they have no choice BUT to fight.

God condemned homosexuality in the Bible, but when someone turns out to be homosexual he doesn't just say, oh good, i can throw them into hell! He wants you to be saved, so he gives you the graces necessary to repent.
