I've seen that there is Audi A4 1.8, 2.0 and 2.8T's but I just would like to know what these numbers mean. I'm looking to buy a 1.8T, is this car a good reliable car at 125K? (What I mean by that is... do the Audi motors run for a whole lotta miles like Hondas do?)

It means the engine's displacement is 1.8 liters and that it's turbocharged. Generally, the bigger the displacement of an engine, the more powerful it is. Turbochargers are a way of increasing the power output of an existing engine. They can be pretty fun (nothing like a turbo rush of power) but it's yet another component that can fail and be costly to repair.

However, engine repairs will probably be the least of your worries, modern engines are amongst the most reliable parts of a car. It's everything else that should worry you. European cars are generally the least reliable and most expensive to fix, and even minor problems can be costly due to labor costs.

The 1.8 is the size of the Engine in liters and the "T" stands for Turbo. The same goes for the 2.0 and 2.8, the size of the engine.

In Audi's case this means that it is the engine size and the t is for the turbo, also it can refer to the trim level as a bigger engine adds more standard features.
