I'm trying to plan a trip and am trying to decide what the fastest way is to get there considering the traffic in the LA area. I've heard it's really bad but I haven't experienced it personally. I'll be leaving Redlands around 10:30. What's the fastest way to go and about how long does it realistically take? I was thinking about the 91. Thanks for your help!

91 or 60 ,avoid 605, 710, probably 1 hr 20 min, because traffic at 10:30am is pretty good.

hi, seen your question, should take about 1hr 30 min. Go to Mapquest and type in Redlands to Long Beach. I check the map and there seems to be two ways to go. one by mapquest and then the one I also noticed and thought might be quicker and less exits to take. That would be west on 10 then south on 605 to Long Beach. Being major interstate and at that time of evening may just be quicker than the one mapquest suggest. Hope this helps and good luck

well by transit you could take Omintrans to San Bernadino
then you take the train to Los Angeles, the Red Line to 7th/Metro
then the Blue Line to Long beach
or you could take the Metrolink 91 route to Norwalk then Norwalk
Metrolink shuttle to the Norwalk Green Line station
then either Long Beach 172 or 173 or Metro 577 for service into downtown Long beach
