The Bible warns us against getting into inter-faith marriages, and Jehovah views it as disloyalty.

To a JW, religion is a big part of our lives. All marriages face struggles, and inter-faith ones add some extra ones.

Will you be able to celebrate Christmas without your husband? Easter? Halloween?

Should the doctors say that your child requires a blood transfusion, will you accept your husband's decision not to donate his blood to that end?

Will you be happy not having you husband beside you at your church services like the other wives ?

Is your friend a baptised Witness? Or does he just associate with the Witnesses? Because a serious, spiritually-mature JW would not consider dating someone of another faith, much less so marry them.

Let him speak to the elders, the elders will not control his decision, they will just help him see Jehovah's view of matters. You can go with him if he likes.

EDIT: I don't know why I assumed the JW was the guy. Anyway, the principles still apply :-)

You know it's good to be in love, and sometimes being in love blinds us to the facts of things that will effect un in the in the months and years to come. Amos asked a question inthe 3rd chapter and the verse is (3) "Can two walk togather, except they agreed"? As a pastor ,I cant live for you or decide but thats all I come by to say to you to night, the rest is for you and your friend.

Be Blessed and LUV much

The one who is a Witness should study the bible with the Baptist Pastor...I studied the Bible with a Baptist Pastor, and now I am not a Witness and I worship God in truth...Now I am saved by Grace and not works.

if your JW elders knew you were dating a "heathen" would they ex-communicate you?

IF yes, then maybe you better not date the christian.

IF no, then you might be ok - just dont try to convert her, and ask that she do the same and not try to convert you. But you will have to agree on how to raise the kids.

For me, no problem about that. It's ok with me for I honor every religion and from their religions I discover many differences from my observations. So, don't let religion become a hindrance to your love life. For GOD wants you to meet IN HIS TIME.
GOD BLESS!

have not got faith Jehovah Witness are actual labelled as 'Christian'?? they do no longer see Jesus as God, have not got faith contained in the Trinity, and so think of from expertise they do no longer seem to be probably Christian. They see Jesus as Michael the Archangel. they're very smart with the Bible and so on, they do nicely, yet do carry slightly distinctive concept.( can not get into all that now) A Christian extremely believes in Jesus as Christ and 'Savior,' and his blood became given for all who would % to acquire it, as for their 'eternal existence.' It became taken from human beings contained in the backyard Of Eden whilst they disobeyed God ( Adam and Eve) and that they lost eternal existence, subsequently all of us did, for thier mistake, so it became restored by using Jesus coming right here and loss of life for the sins of all, who would % to acquire it. He had to undo what became completed, you would be able to assert. It takes 'organic' blood to try this. No different prophet ever reported they might nor did they ever do this. because of the fact of this he isn't probably in common terms a Prophet he had 'organic' blood. do no longer think of Michel the Archangel( regardless of if he's real, astonishing, and robust, am constructive, and fought Lucifer( devil) contained in the heavens and kicked him down right here, for being egotistical, and asserting he would desire to be God too.... yet he became 'created by using God,' as Jesus became 'begotten' no person else is "begotten" we are created, additionally. So devoid of this concept we are no longer a Christian devoid of believing contained in the Trinity of Jesus/ God/ and Holy spirit as one. they won't have fun holiday journeys as they see them as" pagan originated' and actual are maximum appropriate. different Christians ( In early Hx)tried to lead them to Christian holiday journeys as terrific they might, hoping others who have been pagans would substitute, the way they celebrated, so as that they have got been 'changed' yet no longer completely replaced...So do no longer think of Jehovah Witness will ever % to connect Christians in those celebrations. So besides, the terrific of what i will respond to for this question, i assume?

Is the JW ACTIVE and baptized? We are strongly encouraged NOT to date merely for the sake of dating but only when we can seriously consider marriage.. and then, only with someone who is an active and strong member of our faith.

Encourage him to talk to the Elders.

IT WOULD WORK OUT BETTER IF YOU ARE OF THE SAME FAITH. I HAVE KNOWN CASES OF A COUPLE WHO WERE OF DIFFERENT FAITH AND THE MARRIAGE FAILED. OR LESS ONE OF YOU CHANGE I THINK IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. BEST TO BE FRIENDS. IF YOU HAVE KIDS WHAT FAITH WOULD THEY BECOME IT CAUSES MORE PROBLEMS
