If you believe that God is not real and the Bible is a lie and therefore do not believe in them and Hell and Heaven turn out to be the real true thing you are doomed to Hell for not believing. If you do believe in them and they turn out not to be real, then you have lived a better life anyway while on this earth. I suggest you do the latter to be safe. As far as love goes, yes God is real and He does love us all equally and the same. It's the choices we make in our lives that He doesn't like if they do not line up with His Word. He doesn't condemn us for them either, we condemn ourselves by doing them if they are wrong. We hold the keys to the Kingdom of God and whatever we bind is bound and whatever we lose is losed by our own words and actions. He stated that He gave us a free will to choose on our own and he will not go against our own free will but our own free will is what will make us or break us in the end. We have two choices in everything... a good one or a bad one. God loves us no matter what ones we make and that is why He gives us His grace but like the Apostle Paul said we are not to continue to live in sin just because we have God's grace because there will be a judgement that is coming on this earth where both the living and the dead shall be judged by God.

I believe God is definitely real, but just in case he isn't, I am believing anyway so that I am covered. I have read about Hell and that isn't even a place I want to visit let alone stay there for eternity, especially when eternity is forever.

Indeed He does. He is a Father and we are all His children. But He is the most loving father there is. So would a loving father stop loving some of his children if they start hating him? No, he keeps on loving them and he hopes with all his heart that one day, they might understand how much he loves them. So too God loves everyone, since we are all His children. And if some hate Him and do not acknowledge Him as their Father, He loves those even more.

The Bible is most certainly not a lie. It is God's Word.

Yes, but you don't understand there are different types of love.
He loves His children different and there is an impersonal
kind of love. His Grace is for everyone, but not everyone
wants it. GOD does not lie nor does His Word.

Where does it say that God loves everyone?

God, for example, hates satan and the fallen angles. They will be turned to ashes from within, lake of fire. He also hated Esau.

According to the Westboro Baptist Church, God hates homosexuals, Sweden, and, right now, the United States.

Depends on who you ask.
