I f you have a scooper that scoops 56 grams of creatine per scoop, first take the shovel out of the container and put back in the shed. You should first consume about 10g of creatine a day for the first week. Then 5g everyday after that. When I use it, I first start with 5g before I workout and then 5g after. On my off days, I consume 5g in the morning and then 5g at lunch for the first week. After that, I consume 5g after I workout.

A nickle weighs 5 grams. So if you have some type of measuring device for weight that goes that low - weigh a nickle, and put that much creatine and you're all set. 5 grams is a weight, not an amount. If it's fluffy it would take a lot up in a scoop - if it were pressed down, it would take up little room in a scoop - so you can't go by "volume" which is what a scoop does. MP

creatine is for strength training, it only aids in muscle building when there are sufficient calories in the diet and the user is training at a high level of intensity which is around 80% of the one repetition maximum
