The punishment last eternally -- there is no torment, but there is eternal destruction.

That would depend on your religion. Some religions consider hell to be a place of atonement in which you only suffer for a period equal to the severity of your sins.

To some it's eternal and to others yet, Non existent

it says they shall be cast into the lake of fire which burns forever.............and in another it says a fire which is not quenched being tormented forever !!
