yes i can, can you is the issue, did you want instructions?

or are you concerned about our photographic abilities?

use flash thats what i do, flash gives life to the eyes

as im not sure of the question thats all i can answer, sorry my english is poor, "can you" implies others not yourself??

ok sounds like a fine idea, i would also use reflectors so you achieve even lighting and fill any nasty nose shadows,

Yes, you can. You might also use light panels and reflectors along with the backdrop for further lighting control.

Early photographers recording the Native Americans used this exact method. Diffusion materials can allow to more control of the light.
