Brazilian Room in Berkeley or Lake Temescal Beach House, both park of East Bay Regional Park District. They are really cheap. You might also consider Stern Grove in San Francisco, if you want to get married among the redwoods. I recommend that you do not use the clubhouse for dinner. Have heavy hors d'oeuvres outside. It's pretty out there!

Hi. I wish I could help you, but I live in Michigan.
Northern California is big, so I wouldn't even know where to begin looking! If you have a certain area in mind, simply go on the computer to look up State Parks in California. I tried, but again, I don't know exactly WHERE in No. Cal. you are looking at. Here in Michigan it's only $5 to get in to a State Park for the day! Also look at city parks....there must be lots of those in No. Cal. as well. If you see a park you like, simply call up the city office to inquire about having a wedding. Ask about fees and policies.
Other than that...go on vacationrentals.com and click on California. There are people all over willing to rent out their home/condo for "vacationers." Who knows....if you see a place you like, inquire as to the price for hosting a wedding. It may not be as inexpensive as having it at a park, though.
Good luck with your search!

If you want a state park just call City Hall and get the number for the Parks and Recreation department. They will be able to provide you with a list.
If you want a private residence just take a drive. I planned my cousin's wedding at one. All we did was see a house that looked beautiful and pop a gushing letter in their mailbox telling why and what we want to do. They were more than happy to score a couple hundred dollars for a day.

Good for you. I am proud of you for being so down to earth and pratical it is ridiclous what couples spend on a wedding that only last one day.
A park is a wonderful idea I remember recently going to the park with my husband and the caterers were setting up for an outdoor wedding with a reception following. They served pasta salad bread and cake. I asked what they served at the park for an out door wedding.
50-60 people is plenty for a wedding good for you I wish you ALL the best:)

i would say, not a state park, but a LOCAL park - check wth your local park & rec dept - there are often inexpensive shelters and gazebos, etc. that can be had very reasonably. Often senior centers, community centers and lodges will also rent out their places pretty cheap too. Good luck in your search!

In many states, it costs to get into a state park. I don't think it would be appropriate for your guests to have to pay to get in! Check out the city parks. But just remember you will need shelter in case it should rain.
Good luck!

america. Democratic status. grew to become into the source of the debate at Valley Forge. The founding fathers have been democratic. the folk who needed a republic virtually starved the full American military out to teach their element. Then it grew to become into set up as a democracy for the folk and Thomas Jefferson ended up speaking lots approximately it. Then those losers referred to as the puratins got here in, representing the republic (vast agencies). They fought for virtually a hundred years to opposite the form and each and all the equivalent rights stuff. Now you notice it, they nonetheless attempt to make it a nazi or king james state. yet maximum of what they have achieved is public. with the aid of fact of their joker mentality, now many huge economic marketplace based entities have greater capability then human beings and surely contradict what us of a stands for. us of a is meant to be a democracy, yet with the aid of corrupt idiots who took unrestrained movements. some issues like the federal government. even although they seem to be a company. As a ruling physique. that is in basic terms a mish mash of sturdy human beings and grimy people who help enterprise over human beings.
