Me and this guy, have dated before. I was in like 6th grade, and he was in 8th, and it was at the LAST day of school. We only went out for one day, and we're still friends and stuff. Now I'm in the 8th grade, going to high school next year, and He's in 10th going to 11th next year. He asked me if we could date when I got to high school, because He thought i was too young before. I told him i'm awfully impatient. And he said I know, I am too, but I just don't want to ruin this, you know?
and I don't know if i should take it a good way because he wants to wait, or a bad thing as an excuse not to date me?
I don't know how to take it but I kind of take it as a bad thing.
But i told him i'd wait till next year and we're really good friends and stuff.
But when he said that, "I don't want to ruin this, you know?"
was that good or bad?
please help me
i'm so confused and freaked.

Duh, he's talking about some long-term relationship stuff..... also talk to him, a sign of a good friendship is your ABILITY to talk to each other honestly, not your ability to just type "we're really good friends and stuff" that just pisses me off. Your showing how LITTLE your friends with this question, no offense, but IF you saw that WOW you could of figured this out yourself. I'm here to teach people to fish, not catch fish. SO for the love of god, realize that a friendship is determined by how well you can communicated HONESTLY!!! About your feelings, anything short of that is an aquitanceship, and is a poor excuse for a friendship. So talk to him.....
