This is not for us to know...The Bible dose state that 1/3 of the angles will burn in hell for eternity but dose not give the fate for humanity. A lot of Christians will say yes because they focus on the idea of an intellectual faith but the Bible dose speak about our actions thoughts and attitudes notable in the Sermon on the mount blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth and so fourth if these are the criteria who are we to say who is or who isn't righteous enough? who isn't meek enough or how dose not crave God enough.....who hasn't been enough of a peace maker? So to say there a lot of good people and burning in hell is hard is to ignore man's faults and fall and to say most people will burn in hell is to ignore the fact we are created in the image and likeness of God, and that dose show through at times.

many and few ... is what it says...
what your opinion of few vs. many is could be as high as 1/3 and 2/3rds... Only God knows for sure....Fortunately Jesus has made a way for you and offers a free pass on your sins... So I'd opt for the free pass and let others worry about their salvation...It's a point being made to you an offer not a point of dispute ...arguing a fact doesn't change it ...maybe just your perception...

How did you come up with 99%? Only God knows the numbers. You can be the worse sinner in the world,& if you sincerely repent & ask Jesus in your heart, you're going to Heaven. Think about this. Those who you think are in Heaven may not be. Those who you think aren't in Heaven may be,because they called out to God to forgive them of their sins with a truly repentant heart. You only can repent while your living here. It's too late after you die,and you don't know when that will be.

It is the desire of God that everyone would bow before Him and ask for fogiveness of their sins, that everyone would repent, and fall at the feet of Jesus, so that we might know eternal life with God. But God has given us free choice. We are free to choose.
I sure hope that it isn't that high of a number. I hope to do everything I can to decrease that, and increase the Kingdom of God!
Today is the day! Choose this day whom you will serve.

I hope not. Hell is a terrible place. It is so sad that anyone could hate God enough to want to go there.

Maybe not 99%, but the majority yes.
Of course they don't consciously get tormented there forever, you die there, this is why Hell is refereed to in the Bible as the 2nd death.

I understand your frustration with the wicked and those with a hardened heart, but it is up to God to judge. Only HE knows what is in ones heart. -Keep the Faith & God Bless.

If only the 144,000 will be saved, it will be a lot less than one percent going to heaven too. Bad news, ain't it?
