he not only expects you to go to church every sunday but he expects you to believe in him and he doesnt give you any signs at all whatsoever. he wants you to worship him and the thing is you have no way of knowing if he exists.

then to top it off, the bible which is supposed to be the word of god isnt supposed to be taken literally and we have to interpret it the right way. not to mention there's so many different versions of it.

and if you dont accept his son or you dont believe in him wholeheartedly he gets mad and sends you to hell when an omniponent god should know d@mn well that some people refuse to believe something without any proof or signals.

I dont know if He's narcissistic or not .But if He is He has the right to be.It was He that made us and this world that we live in. I really dont understand hoe you can say that we have know way of knowing if He exist and that He does not gaves us signs .Look around ! I know of people who plant trees but not one who has ever made one and what about the elements in the sky the sun , moon, stars the heavens declare His existance. You would have to believe in order to see the splendor of who He is .SO have faith and He will reveal Himself to you. Read His words and there you will gain the faith you need to believe , the eyes to see and the ears to hear.Best Wishes>>

He doesn't expect you to go to church every Sunday, where did you find that in the bible? This is a choice and a good way to understand Him better but not required.

He has given me many signs in the form of dreams, answered prayers, etc.

The bible is the true word of God. Some people interpret things different, but the basic principle is that we are sinners, Christ died for our sins, and if we accept this, we will be in God's presence forever. These are the important points. All other disagreements are man's interpretation.

He doesn't get mad if you don't accept, He is sad. An omnipotent God is also a God of choices. He can't force you to believe anything. Look at the birds in the sky and how they fly in V formation. Look at the rings on a tree or the how animals fend for themselves. There is proof and signals. We just have to be willing to open our eyes to see them.

First you sound like an angry agnostic or atheist. God is beyond human comprehention which dose factor into the Orthodox view of the incarnation which is best summed up in Saint Athinasius's book on the incarnation so if knowlege is not the answer then it is some thing deeper...relationship.
As we are the icons of God...then our relationship with our fellow humans shows our relationship with God...there is the What would Jesus do question...I ask
Jesus feed the multitude how many have we feed?

OK, you mentioned all the negatives. How about the positives? Following him gives us a sense of peace and order in our lives. We are flooded with devine wisdom, truth and love. We spend our lives serving others rather than ourselves. We live like the boyscout or girl scout law advises us. We become kind to those who hurt us. When someone hurts us we do not strike back. His angels surround us and we will spend an eternity in heaven where we will know eternal pursuit and eternal satisfaction.

It's not just your beliefs for which you will be judged - you will be judged based on your thoughts, words, and deeds...

Did you lie? Did you steal? Did you hate someone in your heart? Did you lust after someone you weren't married to? Did you speak hateful, gossipy, careless, empty or thoughtless things to people who needed you? Did you help the poor?

Think about these questions. When Jesus talks about judgment day he mentions specifically helping the poor, lonely, sick, etc. as a major topic of discussion.

If you feel your conscience speaking to you on these issues, take that as evidence of God in your heart - your conscience speaking to you about the law of God and telling you that it is good. Do not stifle that voice but seek to be a better person.

When you find that you can't be as good of a person as the law demands, that's when you will understand the need for Jesus's sacrifice on your behalf.

What you don't understand is; everything He does and tells us to do is for our benefit; He is a giver and a loving Father;
He keeps His word; when He says "if you do this, that will happen, and "if you do that, this is what happens, it is up to us to listen and do right to receive the benefits

That's why he gives evidence, it's not his fault if you don't look at it.

Also, you misunderstand the "versions" of the Bible, they are different translations of the same Bible.
