muslims firsts. Its always muslim first. Ask anyone in islamic countries, even in malaysia.

A true Muslim is always FIRST A MUSLIM, then belongs to a tribe, nation or race or what have you. That is the beauty of Islam that can tie varied races and national origins with different languages who could all relate to the core values of Islam based on obedience to the Almighty as taught by our Prophet Mohammad.
However, there are many who misunderstand Islam at various levels based on the complexity of the Islamic history and the teachers they may have had.
Time and again one group of Muslims will consider the actions of another to be illegitimate, while both being sincere in their belief that they represent the truth. So, "truth" is just as complex and hard to decipher within Islam as without the folds of Islam.
Truth is directly proportional to the knowledge, intelligence and difficulty or lack thereof of the person who is determining what is true or what is false.
I hope this makes sense, although the answer to your question is a bit oblique..lol.

They were students, some Muslim, some secular, who were replaced by Revolutionary Guards. One of the student leaders says he deeply regrets his actions because it was only supposed to last three days as a political act. That student is constantly in prison for dissident activities against the Islamic Regime.
