take her to the subway and ride the train with her. Take a CHARGED mp3 player or CD player with EXTRA batteries. Make a CD with some smooth music or put it on the player. Not hard rock or hip hop. Stuff like R&b or alternative. IF you choose to but Rock, stuff like Fall Out Boys song, Im like a lawer --you get it. If it fails, take her to a park or some feild that not creepy, luminate, dirty, or full with power lines. Get a blanket(probably snack) and look at the stars. Say it... Romantic.

Well since it is getting colder out and snow will soon be falling, you should take her up into a canyon and go sledding. Bring a thermos with hot chocolate in it. The date will be fun, and if you lose interest in sledding you can always have a snowball fight, or go to whitewash her in the snow and slip her a kiss instead! Think of all the possibility's!!!

I hate the term low maintenance. Are you talking about a girl or a car?

Look around town for some different places. If you're in college, there are a bunch of places on campus (i.e. student union). Check the price of pool halls (even better if she doesn't know how to play, you can get close to her to teach her). I know there's a shooting range near me that has tuesday ladies nights, that's at least half off.

If it were still summer or early Autumn, I'd say prepare a picnic. Since, that's probably not possible now, I'd say make her a nice home cooked meal at your home or apartment.

A nice walk in a park. You can buy her ice cream. That's cheap and she might like it.
I know I love parks and walks =)

Go buy one of those cheap ice cream makers from Wal-Mart and make ice cream together. Let her make up her own flavor.
