Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all claim descent from Abraham (hence the name, Abrahamic religions), and they all claim that their God is the One, True, Genuine, Really Really For-Real God of the Universe, but their similarities end there. However, I find the notion amusing that they really do worship the same God without knowing it, and he's just telling them to kill each other because he can't stand any of them and wishes they would all quit bothering him.

Christians do not hate Moslems.... but to be redeemed you must love truth... and truthfully... the God of the Koran is not the same as the God of the Bible who redeems and adopts. Jesus is God the Son and the redeemed can be adopted through Jesus. in the heaven of the Bible God is the highest treasure in the BIble God commands us to sing to God The stories in the New and Old testament are not faithfully repeated accurately in the Koran
In both Old and New Testaqment God is called Father and in the Koran it claims calling God Father is a sin, yet Jesus and ISaiah both called God father. In the Koran's heaven there is no descriptiuon of God being glorified and it appears more like a 5 star hotel with the comforts of man at the center.... not even close...

salaam alaykum,
many dear are unfamiliar with the religion itself and have self
imposed idealogy or that of their Christian leaders that demonize us. Instead of reading or learning about Islam and the true meaning of they categorize us unfairly.I have seen them take text from the Holy Quran and completey change the true meaning by putting it out of context almost always it is
always regarding violence and killing. Almost 100% of the time they get the true meaning messed up because they have not studie Islamic Studies to make a call on what is he true meaning. Fact..in history Christians were much more violent and killed more than Muslims...also when a town or village was won by the Muslims...the spoils of war or booty were dispersed fairly and the captured became Muslims by choice as Prophet Muhammad was fair and just PBUH.
regarding killing.

Both Muslims and Christians worship the God of Abraham, so it is wrong to say that Christians hate the Muslim's God.

I didn't know they did. Hating the god of the Muslims is certainly not a tenet of the Christian faith, and I think there are very few people that actually do hate it. Indeed, Christians do not believe in its existence, so why would they hate it??
Why do you like to stereotype and misrepresent Christians? Why do you attempt it so poorly?

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the Abrahamic religions. Abraham, father of Isaac and Ishmael, is the spiritual forefather for all three monotheistic religions.

I always thought the Muslim God was the same as the Christian God. But I believe a lot of Muslims would disagree.
I'm a Christian. My perspective is, that there is only one God really, and that people can have mistaken or distorted ideas about God, including the idea that there are multiple gods. But when people try to approach God, God welcomes it.
Belief IN God has to be distinguished from beliefs ABOUT God. It is essential to have trust in God, while mistaken beliefs about God can always be corrected later.

Its more a reflection of the muslims, as well as the jews, not accepting the sin offering of 'Jesus' that brings out the ickie side of Christians.
In the Jewish tradition, human sacrifice as a sin offering is an Abomination to the Laws of God, as is offering up such a sacrifice upon a High Place like Mt. Calvary.
Islam is usually said to be descended from the Essene sect of Judism, so didn't take up the Pauline philosophies of human sacrifice, ritual cannibalism, and sinning they way the Pauline Christian sects have.

Thankyou for pointing this out. You are right, it IS the same God. There is only ONE God, the same God for Christianity, Islam, Judaism and the entire universe!

Yes, Muslims, Christians and Jews worship the same God, the God of Abraham. "Allah" literally means "God" in Arabic, Arabic Christians and Jews use the same word that Muslims do.
p.s. Jesus Christ is revered in Islam but not as a god or the son of God, but as a messenger of God.
also, to many of you, please stop reading bigoted propaganda about meccan moon-gods, everything you find on the internet is not true!

Definitely not the same God. Allah stems from a pagan deity that were moon worshipers. Yahweh is the God of creation the God of the Bible the one who spoke the very universe into existence. He is the God of the prophecies of the scriptures that are never wrong, no allah is not the same god as many would have you believe.
