I want to get over him and I think maybe a rebound will help...Or is that a bad idea?

I think a new man helps get over an ex. Rebounds are a bad idea, yes. But still.... It makes you feel better temporarily.

A rebound will help... kind of. A rebound will take your mind off your ex, but unless it turns out to be the real thing... you'll just end up hurting the other person. Regardless, you'll never get over your ex without some personal reflection and life changing... and even then you may not get over them completely, depending on how in love you were!

That is a very, very bad idea. You need to work on getting over your ex before becoming involved with someone else because you would only bring old baggage into your new relationship and that's totally unfair. When people do this they often cause the new person to pay the penalty for whatever the previous may, or may not, have done. Please don't even consider doing something like this!

Probably not, depends on how attatched you were to ex, and how long you dated.
Dating will be a nice distraction though, just don't get too serious with anybody until you can honestly say that you don't want your ex anymore.

not really.
it depends on the situation,
but dating before you're over it usually only makes the mess bigger, not to meantion hurt the guy.
it takes alot of time to be able to move on,
but you'll be happier if you wait to 'fully heal' before getting back out there.

probably a bad idea if you ask me...not going to help you get over him. may make you feel guilty though. i wouldn't go for it.
