I just don't think so. Although Gordon has a family now to be a greater priority, you get the feeling he's not through yet.
I just don't think the passion is gone and Ingrid's not pushing him to get out.
i think he'll be done by 40, but he' not there yet and a lot can happen between now and then.

I like Jimmie Johnson too, but Jeff Gordon is the better driver.

If things keep going like they are, that may very well be true. Gordon must be tired of looking like a chump next to the 48 team. The "Drive for Five" is on life support and going into cardiac arrest.

Jeff's already stated that he's not going to stay on the track until he becomes a washed-up joke of himself. I give him 3 or 4 more seasons, then he'll bow out on his own terms.
He'll stay around as a car owner, & quite possibly end up in charge of HMS.

Jeff sure showing that he can still compete, he is not giving up and will not till the end.
Jeff will retire when he feels its right.

Do you really think Jeff will retire soon? Maybe he should 'bow out gracefully" before he starts getting beaten badly, huh? I don't think he will even consider it for a few more years.

Nope...Jeff has said many times he want to race till he is 40..so thats 3 more yrs...but I think it depends more on baby diapers..
