i weigh about 95 and I am 14
we are going to start lifting weights in my school( max bech press this time)
This will be the 1st time I did this how much should i be able to lift?
any tips on accually doing it

Your school should not be giving open kinetic free weight training. It can damage your epiphyseal growth plates and make you limbs shorter forever.

Wait until you're fully grown.

I'd say around 80 lbs if you're never done it before.

A couple tips:
-keep a wide grip, its easier.
-breath in while lowering the bar, exhale when pushing up.
-keep your back flat on the bench, arching your back isnt good for it and defeats the point of working your pecs.

I hope that your school provide a trainer. You should not try to lift no more than 5 pounds maybe 8.

should be able to bench own weight ...after working up to it ....may take weeks start at weight comfortable with and work with spotters
