If you feel like you HAVE to pierce it yourself, my advice is to buy a STERILE (as in autoclaved) piercing needle, and sterile (also autoclaved) jewelry. Rubbing alcohol, peroxide, burning, etc doe not kill things such as the HIV virus. Also, look at all the pics you can and make sure the placement is right so it isn't crooked or too shallow.

If you want to go to a piercer that is great. A piercer will be able to make it so it isn't crooked or too shallow. Many tattoo shops also have a piercer, I suggest calling different places to see the price and such of the piercing. If you like the sound of one, go in and ask to see pictures of healed eyebrow piercings they have done. The cost differs from place to place, but when I got mine pierced years ago it was about $35 (including jewelry). Keep in mind that cheaper doesn't mean better, the piercer at the place I got it pierced at sucked, and every piercing I got by him did not heal.

Not the best idea to do it yourself. Mainly because you really can not see where or how your piercing (too shollow it can grow out). You will need a sterilized needle and jewelry piece. Which I would say a hoop/ring which is more effective when cleaning. For infection free go to a tattoo shop which always hires piercers. Which you can get your eye brow pierced for around $35 to $50. Faster and easier way to do it.

You don't.
Hah seriously, get it done professionally.
Get off your ***, get a job and save up money.
It really isn't all that expensive.
You can pay $60 and get it done by a professional, or you can pay $600 in doctor bills after doing it yourself and it getting infected.
Your choice.

..where do you live?
I might know some reputable shops in your area.
