Oh gawd, I hear you Pangel!! I'm so glad that I don't have daughters in elementary school anymore! Both of my girls had hair down to their butts almost the whole time they were in elementary, and a few times, it was a real nightmare :(

I don't believe that everything in existence was put here for just our benefit. Believe it or not, lice are a very important part of the food chain. There are lots of animals who eat lice, including many native peoples. They're actually quite nutritious!

Edit:
This is in response to the person who inferred that poor hygiene is a reason for getting head lice. It has actually been found that lice prefer to live in clean hair rather than in dirty hair. Even lice have their standards! People who have long hair and close contact with lots of other human beings (especially children) are actually the ones in the highest risk group for getting head lice. If a person who has head lice refuses to do anything about it, then that is a reason to question their hygiene, otherewise, keeping clean has very little to do with whether or not a person will get lice!

Jellyfish (also known as jellies or sea jellies or a stage of the life cycle of Medusozoa) are free-swimming members of the phylum Cnidaria. Medusa is another word for jellyfish, and refers to any free-swimming jellyfish stages in the phylum Cnidaria. Jellyfish have several different morphologies that represent several different cnidarian classes including the Scyphozoa (over 200 species), Staurozoa (about 50 species), Cubozoa (about 20 species), and Hydrozoa (about 1000–1500 species that make jellyfish and many more that do not).[1][2] Jellyfish are found in every ocean, from the surface to the deep sea. Some hydrozoan jellyfish, or hydromedusae, are also found in fresh water; freshwater jellyfish are less than an inch (25 mm) in diameter, are colorless and do not sting. Large, often colorful, jellyfish are common in coastal zones worldwide. Scientists have evidence of jellyfish roaming the seas for about 500 million years.[3] In its broadest sense, the term jellyfish also generally refers to members of the phylum Ctenophora. Although not closely related to cnidarian jellyfish, ctenophores are also free-swimming planktonic carnivores, are generally transparent or translucent, and exist in shallow to deep portions of all the world's oceans. Alternative names for groups of jellyfish are scyphomedusae, stauromedusae, cubomedusae, and hydromedusae. These may relate to an entire order or class.[4]

Great, now I'll always smile when I see monkeys grooming one another. I'll be thinking of Last Ent Wife's response.

i think that head lice is a plague, in the book of exodus chapter 8:16 God turned the dust into lice to try to convince pharaoh to release Israel. i cant find anywhere that God actually removed that plague

I don't know (but, dang, I like Last Ent Wife's answers).

I do know that the list of irritating critters (people not included) is rather long.

It's the eleventh plague of Egypt that wasn't included in the Bible, so God decided to use it now. Along with the Pine Beetle, AIDS, breast cancer and something something. Because there's a tyrant loose in the world who's not behaving. (I think we all know who I'm talking about)

Anything that hinders your health makes you see the value of your health ^^

without being hurt, weak, unhealthy and reminded of our weaknesses and inabilities, mankind, would never learn to be humble nor, feel empathy for another persons pain.
