religion-specifically christianity has been running things for the last 2000 years-?

seeing as how we are still fighting wars and generally messing up the planet isnt it time we tried something else?
any thoughts-thanks in advance for any answers-smile and enjoy the night

The Abrahamic religions are the source of most wars. There was no such thing before 4,000 b.c.e.

How has Christianity been running things? What things? What wars? There have been God knows how many wars over the last 2000 years and ALL of them were Christian wars? Hmm... I don't think so. I think you might try researching that. FYI: China is probably the number one polluter of the planet and there are not many Christians in China. While there have been wars directly involving Christianity, I daresay that a larger portion of wars have had nothing to do with religion (greed more likely!), and those that have been religious have probably been more non-Christian. Seems to me that humans have just been killing each other for a darn long time no matter what the reason.

Has it? Tell me, what is Christianity? Do you see it as how most of the world wrongly sees it, or do you see it as how the Bible describes it (which is followers of Christ, people who give their all to Jesus and accept Him as their personal savior and try to live life like He would want them to)? Look at all the world's leaders and what they're doing. For now, judge them by their actions, and tell me: is that really Christianity? No doubt some leaders still are, but seriously, what most of them are doing are not the actions of Christians. They do things to make themselves look good, not for the glory of God. That isn't true Christianity. No comment on George W. Bush.
