Clean it 2 times a day with rubbing alcohol and then apply neosporin at night before bed. Also, wear high quality earrings - 18k - 24k gold, at least until the holes are firmly established. Finally, don't touch...

I have never been able to keep a second piercing from getting infected. I don't know why, only that it's terribly painful.
If it were me, and I was determined to keep the second piercing, I would:
Take all the earrings out. Take a very warm wash rag and pinch each ear, massaging a little. If the knot of pus is still there, poke it with a needle and repeat the warm washcloth. Now use peroxide on a q-tip and clean front and back of both piercings in each ear. Keep at it until the bubbling stops. Wash your hands. Apply Neosporin with a q-tip. Take brand new earrings and put them back in the piercings.
Repeat this every day for three or four days and if the infection hasn't cleared up by then, either give up or go see the dr. and get some oral antibiotics.

this is pretty typical for most people. i've got 11 ear piercings plus a number of other ones and i went through this with most of them. the trick is to wait it out and keep it clean. mostly importantly DON'T TOUCH IT. its ok to gently squeeze pus out occassionally but do it with properly cleansed hands. also, use a seasalt and warm water solution to soak the area at least once if not twice a day. its less irritating that those other cleansers. bactine is ok to use to but you must make sure its a fresh bottle. what most people don't know is it has a shelf life of about a month before bacteria grows in it and will reinfect whatever wound you put it on. i just label the date on the bottle when i open it and toss it if its been a month. but the biggest thing here is DON'T TOUCH THEM! you merely aggravate the tissue more when you do so. it will take awhile to completely go away but it will. trust me...i wouldn't still have all 11 if it didn't.

you have an infection. your hair could be the cause of it. depending on if you have stud ear rings, the hair gets wound around the stud, and into the piercing. this causes an infection (white pus). you need to take the ear rings out, soak them in hydrogen peroxide, and clean your ears really well with it also, front & back. this will hurt some, and the ear rings will be kind of hard to get back in. put ice on them to bring down the swelling will help. you will need to do this every couple of days. if you can, get antibotics from your doctor.

Check to see if your ear has a greenish black area around the ear ring if so get different ear rings....get some sea salt mix with water...go around the area with the solution on a q-tip. It will take awhile but until the swelling goes down this certainly takes away the pain....This is what my piercer has all her customers do. Do this very often and before you go to bed...Do not use any thing greasy. just the sea salt.

do you wear only silver or real gold earings? My daughters ears did the same thing when she wears cheaper jewelry. How long have your ears been pierced? You might need to take the earings out a few days to give your ears time to heal up some.

use gold earrings, for some reason non-gold have that effect on some people, use some neosporin every night and again wear gold earrings. The infection will go away. Good luck

I was having the same problem for a long time.
I started doing this daily routine:
Clean holes with hydrogen peroxide.
Then apply antibiotic ointment
I have been doing this for years and have had no infections..
It cleared up the original infection and haven't had one since then.

I'd just let it dry up. Don't put anything on it. I've had my ears pierced 6 times, and I have had infections too. Just let it dry up, it might close, but let it heal and get it repierced, but not in the exact same spot. Infections need to be dry, putting liquids on it could make it worse.
