sounds like pink eye in which case he needs to see a dr before it gets worse.

An allergy attack. Ask him what he has touched lately. I bet he touched something like a plant, or a pepper, or a chemical...and rubbed his left eye without washing first.
Take Sudafed. You'll be alright in no time. If sudafed doesn't do it, take 50 mg Benedryl. or if you start feeling your tongue swell, hard to breathe, etc. call 911.

he either has an allergy or cold=also his eye could be what is called dry eye =they run constantly and get red =should see his Dr. about it

it's just allergy. i had a viral infection in my mouth its ok now. but it spreading to everyone. it can even spread to u.
