ill be making videos ang put it on youtube and dital camors can make videos but camdors are little expencive

I like my digital camera since it doubles to take pictures and makes videos (plus lots of other great features). I use the sony cybershot t-80 (I think that's its name). I think it's better than my camcorder since it's compact and the video is really good quality. If i use my digital camera's video mode to record videos, I can just upload it to my computer and save it on a disc easily. Digitial cameras also tend to be cheaper but if you plan on making really long videos, you would have to invest in a large flash drive/memory card which can get pretty pricey.

digital camcorders are better for videos. And if you look around, you could find a decent digital camcorder for a good price.

I like using Sony's "Digital 8" handycam camcorders for video...I don't remember how much I paid for it--I think around $300 or $400 (it's an older model) .
