11pm = 2300hrs
12am = 2400hrs or 0000hrs, depending on who you speak to.
Remember after 12pm/noon you just start counting i.e. 1pm = 1300 hrs, 2pm = 1400hrs and so on.
Take it easy.

In military (and computer) time, 24:00 does not exist.
During Day 1, times go up through 23:59:59 (one second before midnight). The very next second of Day 2 is 00:00:00.
The answer to your question is: "00:00", not "24:00".

Contrary to popular belief, midnight is 2400 hours. ON a 24 hour clock you must have 24 hours (for all of you who will argue with me). 0001 hours would be 12:01 am for civilian time. 0100 hours would be 1:00 am. Okey Dokey?
By the way, there are no oh's in a 2400 hours clock, also no colons. The correct way to say 0700 is zero seven hundred hours. The correct way to say 12:01 pm is zero, zero, zero one hours or triple zero one hours. An oh (O) is an alphabetic character not numeric. It's not only official military language, it's common sense. It's like trying to say its three five oh in the afternoon. Duh

hour + minutes.
Your day starts at 0 (zero) each hour after that add one
1:00 am = 0100 (01 is the hour and 00 are the minutes)
Noon is 1200; then the 12 hours on the clock continue with 1300 (1:00 pm)
1455 is 2:55 (12 hours+2hours, 55 minutes)

Sir, there are 24 hrs in a day. You start at 1:00 am with 0-100 (pronounced oh -one hundred)
You dont get double digits till you pass noon :1200 (pronounced twelve hundred) thats the easy part of the day - after twelve hundred you say (for 1 pm) 'thirteen hundred' on down to 6pm- 1800 (eighteen hundred) and up to midnight again which we know is 2400 twenty-four hundred. If you want a better explanation, e-mail me.

2400 and here is a little trick take the second number in the time minus 2 and it gives u the time... like 1900 nine minus 2 is 7 so its seven oclock 2000 the digit 0 acts as 10-2 = 8 so its 8 o clock 1400 4-2=2 makes it 2 oclock~ just practice, good luck!

One minute prior to midnight is: 2359
Midnight is: 0000
one minute after midnight is: 0001
The top of any hour (0900, 1000, 1400, etc...) is the first minute of the new hour, NOT the last minute of the previous hour.
Tonight at Midnight the Date-Time Group will be:
060000NOV07 (Day|Time|MON|Year)

For any time past noon, add 12 to that number. I.e. 1:00 = 1300.
