Soda is typically an East Coast term...where Pop is usually heard on the West Coast...I personally call it Soda..

Soda in the West. Pop in the midwest, by older people, and commonwealth countries like Canada and the UK. Soda pop in the rockies.

Pop. I'm from Ohio and it'll always be "pop" to me. When I was younger I got into an argument with my cousin from out of state. I was like "what the heck is soda?" and she wondered what "pop" was.

soda pop because back north we call it pop and down here(south) they call it soda i found out people in canada call it pop to and out west i am pretty sure it is soda pop
