Craft Brews are those which use no adjuncts, and focus more on beer styles rather than mass appeal. However, a craft beer can technically be manufactured by a macrobrewery as well, although their general practices of producing inferior products in order to cut costs prohibits much of this.

Microbreweries generally make craft brews, however they remain limited in their capacity.

They are synonymous.

Craft and microbrew beers started coming on the scene in the late 70's after Jimmy Carter signed a bill to allow making beer at home (homebrewing). The craft (microbrew) scene jumped with the openings of several pubs and breweries that produced beer on a small scale. If a brewery makes less than 50,000 barrels of beer a year, then they are considered a craft or microbrewery.

I'm not sure but it sounds like a craft beer is perhaps one made at home or an incredibly small brewery and a microbrew is a little larger facility?
