all fast foods, and restaurants do this. make it look good, and they will come. we eat with our eyes. if something doesn't look good, we wont eat it. ever wonder why they put tons of late night food commercials on. it's to make you hungry, and suck you in. this is called smart advertising. it's a money maker.

Not dogging McDonald's, or any other fast food place, but years ago we went to a famous taco place. My friend, who was 6'8" and about 270lbs told the kid that we wanted twelve tacos, and they better look just like the picture. Needles to say we got some darn good tacos. On a totally different note, the food you get in Japan looks as good as or better than the picture; and it always tastes great!

Why? eh, Quit simple.
While making the Advertisement pictures, they have a lot of time in their hands. So they make it PERFECT.
now when you get a squished whopper, or whatever it is, at your local McDonald's store, it seems like they were making a "build your whopper in 15 seconds" competition. So the lazy people their got no time in their hands, i don't blame them, i honestly think that i wouldn't make much better than them. Because they got so many other customers so serve, so they do it as quick as possible.
anyways, McDonald's is a bad fast food place. There products, increase the risk of getting blood cancer, or heart failure.
so better not to go there.
Thank you
just promise me you wont go there again.

I've yet to see a food product in reality that looks like the photo in an ad for it. It just doesn't happen. The photos of the food is "posed" often not even using real food to make it look perfect.

Because the products in the picture are not real food. They are plastic sprayed with a shiny coat. The food you actually get is made by high school kids who get paid minimum wage and they just don't care what your burger looks like.

Marketing - the photographers try to make the food look mouth watering. Sometimes they'll spray oil on the lettuce to show a luscious sheen or enhance the grill marks with "make-up".
The food you/we get is made by minimum wage students that don't give a darn.
