What is up with all of the recalls?? First spinach, then peanut butter and now frozen pizza! Maybe we should all grow our own foods.

I feed my family organic foods from manufacturers I am very familiar with and trust. That's about the best I can do I think. Besides the recalls, there are so many things done to food -- like the addition of coloring, flavoring and preservatives and genetic modifications -- that I don't think it's all that safe even if it's not recalled.

Haha nothing is safe from other countries, especially China. Probably the best thing you can do is grow your own food and hope the ground doesn't have anything wrong with it.

You could try growing your own food, but have the soil checked first. And also the water you wash it in.
I think we just hear more about things a lot quicker now. Our food has always made us sick.

yes. pretty much all the foods in the US are safe. its just that our government freaks out about every little problem.
so what if one person out of a billion got a virus cause he ate an uncooked pizza?

you should google video "know your meat"
shows turkeys and chickens,cows, pigs being pumped with steroids. Americans are getting bigger and taller because these chem. are still in the meats. Diabetes and other illnesses are on the rise because of this.

maybe this means the companies need to upgrade their processing and/or check their machines and quality control.
