This is what I would usually eat in a day:

Breakfast: low-fat yoghurt, and fruit salad (watermelon, strawberries, pineapple and rockmelon)

Snack: a piece of fruit, usually a banana or apple

Lunch: egg and salad sandwich on rye bread

Dinner: steamed vegetables (sweet potato, carrot, broccoli, peas) and brown rice.

Do you think I'm eating enough from the food groups? Any advice would be great!

you need more protein in your diet. protein is not only good for sustaining lean muscle mass but it also revs up your metabolism. make your morning meal a smoothie and add milk and a scoop of vanilla whey protein. eat a couple turkey slices with your snack. (make sure with your egg salad you are using plenty of chopped veggies and not too much mayo.) add a peice of chicken or stir fry up some tofu to go with you rdinner. if you just did those few things you'd be in tip top shape with your nutritional habits.

This is not too bad actually. I'd like to see a bit more protein, like egg whites in an omelet with whole wheat toast once in a while for breakfast and some chicken breast with your dinner but as long as you're getting at least 1200 calories a day...I like it..good job

You need more protein, some at dinner would be good and you are only consuming one dairy unit a day, you need 2-4. If you're young this looks like it only has about 1400 calories, and you need more to support a growing body

it's fine as long as your eating at least 1200 calories a day BARE MINIMUM. 1500 would be ideal. you also need to add some healthy fat to your diet. for dinner, mabye have almonds or walnuts instead of brown rice. or you could always take OMEGA 3 suplements.

and a message for german:), apples do not have negative calories. they have about 70 calories for a small to medium one with skin. if you want something with negative calories you should have cellery or strawberrys but they are only negative if you have very little portions of them.

Looks like you are headed in the right direction.
a good diet is composed of fruits and veggies, vine ripe, organic, and raw (if possible) no meat (or limited meats) nothing fried, no processed food (if you can pronounce it don't eat it), nothing white, no dairy. raw nuts, The only supplements I suggest are Omega 3s and B-12. and exercise. I also take Juice Plus+ which is a whole food nutitional supplement. you can check it out at www.juiceplus.com/+Lb53116

You body will not o-d on natural foods but it will on artificial vitamins.
