I have always been deathly allergic to cats. I was afraid to ever get one. Well, my husband and I finally gave in and got one. He's great and my allergies really aren't bad at all, but I do have one symptom that I just can't remedy. I have an itchy, runny nose constantly. It goes away as soon as I leave the apartment, and comes back as soon as I enter again. I have tried Claritin, Benadryl, Alavert, Allegra, nose spray, and tylenol cold and sinus, and advil cold and sinus. What will help me? I vaccum and use dander wipes on the cat, and also bathe the cat.

Each person is different, what might work for me, may not work for you...if you haven't found something that works over the counter, like generic claritin or benydryl and doesn't make you sleepy, it's probably time to check with an allergy doctor.

Okay what you have to do is... Get a hot bath running. Then find your cats. Once you have gathered your cats and the tub water is at an optimal volume enter the tub with your cats. Now comes the hard part... you need to bathe with your cats for at least one hour, but the more time the better. This will then acclimate both your skin and your sinuses to the cat allergen. Hope this helps.

Return the little parasite to the animal shelter. You will suffer an unnecessary illness for the sake of that little selfish scammer. You must be kidding.
